This Privacy Policy explains how ShowFlow, a Windows file-utility application, handles information when you use its local tools and optional Google Drive–connected Folder Share feature.

1. Information and files you choose to process

ShowFlow's desktop tools process files you select to convert, extract, merge, split, or optimize. The files you select may contain personal information. Folder Share works with files you choose to synchronize using a connected Google account.

2. Google sign-in and Google Drive

If you choose to connect Folder Share, ShowFlow requests Google authentication and Google Drive access through Google's permission screen. ShowFlow uses the authorized access to perform Folder Share operations, such as finding, uploading, and downloading files within the scope granted. Connecting a Google account is optional for the other desktop tools.

Authentication involves communicating with Google's OAuth service and ShowFlow's backend for token exchange. Authentication credentials and tokens should be stored securely; on supported Windows devices, the application is designed to protect locally saved login data using the operating system's available facilities. ShowFlow does not require you to share your Google password with the application.

3. Storage and sharing

Files synchronized through Folder Share are stored in the connected user's Google Drive, subject to Google's terms, storage limits, and permissions. Files and account information are also processed as necessary by Google to provide the service. ShowFlow's current backend supports authentication requests; the developer should verify whether server logs, error reports, or future features collect additional data before publishing or revising this policy.

4. How information is used

ShowFlow uses information only as needed to provide features you request, maintain the service, address issues, and prevent misuse. Access to Google user data should not be used for advertising or sold to data brokers.

5. Your choices

You can use non-Google tools without connecting a Google account. You can sign out of Folder Share in the application and revoke Google permissions from your Google Account connections. Signing out may not delete all previously synchronized files from your Drive or computer; you can manage those files in their respective storage locations.

6. Retention and security

Authentication data may remain in the local application profile so that you can stay signed in between sessions. No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security. Contact the developer if you believe your account or files are at risk.

7. Children's privacy

ShowFlow is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as ShowFlow changes. Any material revisions will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
